Learn to embroider with fellow queers from your tutor Von. In this three-hour workshop you will create a patch as an expression of what pride means for you.

As an introduction to embroidery, you will learn hand sewing hacks and basic stitch techniques. To personalise your pride patch, you will then embroider your choice of text, symbols or illustration. This course is not traditional, technical embroidery, it’s designed to be chill and fun, as an opportunity to explore embroidery as a creative outlet.

This event is free and for all disabled and rainbow community members. So that we can make sure we have enough kai and access needs covered please email events@thedlist.co.nz to confirm a spot.
