This episode of Clickbait & Crutches features Dave Batten, Cha’Nel Kaa-Luke (Ngāti Porou, Ngāruahine, Ngāti Ruanui), and Nigel Ngahiwi (Ngāti Maniapoto).

Clickbait & Crutches is a new web series exploring disability and the internet. Produced in partnership between The D*List, Sweet Productions and Wellington-based writer and activist Alice Mander, and made with support from InternetNZ, the series looks at how living online impacts our communities in different ways. Across the four six-minute episodes, Clickbait & Crutches looks at how disability and the internet intersect with creativity, community, activism and identity.

Sweet Productions is a new and innovative disability-led company established to bring purposeful, authentic and diverse content to a wide audience spectrum.

To bring Clickbait & Crutches to life, Sweet Productions were also supported by:

Laura (she/her), Ngāi Tahu. Graphic designer and editor of the Community & Activism episodes. Laura lives with OCD and is an experienced editor working with Māori, Pasifika and disability content. She currently works with Tiki Lounge and The Coconet.

Ethan (he/him). Editor of the Identity & Creativity episodes (mentored by Jai). Ethan is an editing student who lives with autism. He is excited to be working with disability community content and learning the ropes professionally.
